Product Review Policy

Rolling with the Curves exists because people trust us — our audience first, and the partners who work with us second. When a company pays us, sends us free product, or gives us an affiliate commission, you deserve to know exactly how that affects what we say. Short answer: it doesn’t. This policy is the long answer.

Our Commitments

  1. We choose our partners. We turn down more partnership requests than we accept. We only work with brands we believe will take care of you if you spend your money with them — because a recommendation from us puts our name on your experience.
  2. We choose the products. If it doesn’t fit how we actually camp, it doesn’t get reviewed. We’re weekend warriors with a fifth wheel, a one-ton truck, and a 110-pound dog — and we only review gear we can install, use, and put through real trips on our own rig. No desk reviews. No reading the box.
  3. Compensation never buys the verdict. Sponsorship, free product, or commission never guarantees a positive review — and every partner agrees to that before we sign anything. If a product has flaws, we name them on camera and in print. If it fails, we say it failed.
  4. We disclose, every time, everywhere. Sponsored or compensated content is identified in the video itself, in the video description, in blog posts, and in social posts. If you ever have to wonder whether we were paid, we’ve failed — tell us and we’ll fix it.
  5. The review doesn’t end at publish. Gear stays on the rig and keeps earning its spot. Products reappear in future videos and articles as long-term follow-ups, because how something holds up in year two matters more than how it unboxes on day one.
  6. We test like part-timers, because we are. Our reviews reflect weekend trips, seasonal sites, and real storage-to-campground cycles — the way most RVers actually use their rigs. If something only makes sense for full-timers, we’ll tell you that too.

We’re grateful to the manufacturers and companies who work with us to put honest information in front of the RV community. But if this policy ever collides with a partner’s expectations, the policy wins.

Our audience. Our integrity. In that order — because the second one protects the first.
