Our RV GPS Sent Us Through Downtown Vegas With a 35-Foot Fifth Wheel

Towing a 35-foot fifth wheel in tight city traffic is the kind of RV moment you never forget. We thought we had a clean route out of Nevada. Our GPS had other plans. One wrong turn and we were dragging 13,000 pounds of RV through downtown Las Vegas.

This is a travel story with real RV stress, big scenery, weird stops, and one last surprise when we got home.

Why you should watch this one

If you tow a fifth wheel, you have felt this fear: “Am I really going the right way?” This video shows what it looks like when the route is wrong, and how fast a normal travel day can turn into white-knuckle driving.

It is also packed with quick stops you can steal for your own trip: scenic drives, Route 66 fun, and some places that are way better than we expected.
