One of the Best Stops on Our Texas Road Trip Was Family
One of the best parts of our last Texas road trip had nothing to do with the road, the campground, or the views.
It was getting to see family.
We got to spend time with our nephews and nieces and see what they’ve been building, and that ended up being one of the most meaningful parts of the whole trip. There is just something special about seeing people you love doing something that really fits them.
Seeing Family Was the Real Highlight
As much as we love RV travel, scenic drives, and discovering new places, this stop reminded me that the best part of a trip is not always the destination itself. Sometimes it is the people you get to see along the way.
This family stop on our Texas road trip gave us time to slow down, reconnect, and really enjoy being together. Those are the moments that stay with you long after the trip is over.
Brandon Morgan and GameTime Cookers
Getting to see Brandon Morgan with GameTime Cookers was a real highlight for us. We were proud of him before we ever got there, but seeing him in his element made it even better.
You could feel the hard work behind it. You could see the passion. It was not just about cooking. It was about watching someone we love build something that reflects who he is.
That kind of stop stays with you.
Bill and Gaby Clemons and Kuma Rama
Why This Part of the Trip Meant So Much
What made this stop so memorable was not just that we were visiting places. It was that we were seeing family do something meaningful.
The miles blur together after a while, but time with family does not.
This part of our Texas trip reminded me that sometimes the best stops are not the ones you plan around attractions or scenery. Sometimes the best stops are the ones where you get to hug your people, encourage them, and walk away even more proud of them than you were before.
One of the Best Memories from the Trip
Seeing Brandon with GameTime Cookers and Bill and Gaby with Kuma Rama was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. We loved getting to support them, spend time with them, and just enjoy seeing them shine in their own way.
That is the kind of road trip memory that lasts.
