🍩 Fueling Up & Donut Run

Every good travel day starts with diesel and donuts, right? We topped off at Circle K — yes, they still get us for that last penny — and made a quick stop at Mary Ann Donuts for their famous apple fritters. If you’re traveling through Northeast Ohio, those fritters are worth the detour.

🔩 Hitching Up the B&W Companion

This trip we’re towing with our Alliance Paradigm 310RL Fifth Wheel using our B&W Companion hitch. When that arm closes, we know we’ve got a solid connection. We always do a tug test, check tire pressure, and make sure everything is locked in before rolling out. Safety first.

💩 The Great Stinky Slinky Escape

No RV trip is complete without a little chaos. Somewhere along the way, our sewer hose — yep, the stinky slinky — tried to make a break for it. Luckily, a passing FedEx driver noticed it and helped us out. RV people (and apparently FedEx people) are just built different. 😅

🍇 Arriving in Geneva, Ohio – Harvest Host Stop

Our overnight spot was a beautiful Harvest Host winery in Geneva, Ohio — right in the Lake Erie Wine Country area. We checked in, got parked, leveled the rig, and settled in for a relaxing evening surrounded by vineyards. This is exactly why we love Harvest Host stays — unique locations, small businesses, and quiet nights.

🐾 Grizzly’s Moment by the Lake

Of course, our camp greeter and co-pilot Grizzly had to get in on the fun. He got some surf time by the water and sniffed everything in sight. The only downside? Midges. Lots of them. Lake Erie said: welcome to the shoreline! 🌊
